Dessert Fritters (2 servings)
Ingredients for Fritters
2 eggs, separated
1 teaspoon-equivalent brown sugar substitute
3/4 teaspoon cinnamon
1/8 pound sweet butter, melted
Preparation Method
1. Beat egg whites with sugar substitute until stiff. Add cinnamon to egg yolks, and fold into whites.
2. Melt butter in baking dish, and drop egg mixture by tablespoonfuls into it. Bake in 350o oven for 20 minutes. Cool.
2 tbsps sweet butter
1/4 teaspoon-equivalent brown sugar substitute
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
1 tbsp brandy
1. Melt butter in skillet. Add sugar substitute and cinnamon. Fry fritters in butter until brown. Turn. Remove from heat.
2. Heat brandy in small pan. When hot, ignite and pour over fritters. Serve at once.
