Roasted Pork
Roasted Pork Recipe (6 Servings)
Ingredients for Roasted Pork
4 to 5 pounds pork roast (loin or shoulder)
1 large garlic, minced fined
salt and pepper to taste
Preparation Method for Roasted Pork
Preheat oven to 350 degree F.
Wipe meat with damp cloth. Cut off edges and surplus fat. Cut a small incision in meat and insert garlic. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
Place meat fat side up in roasting pan. Roast in 350 degree oven. Cook for 30 to 45 minutes per pond. The meat should be grayish white.
Add olive oil to pan. Sauté onion, garlic, and mushroom in olive oil until onion is golden. Pour in chicken broth, wine and add bay leaf. Bring mixture to boil and cooked for about 3 minutes.
Arrange 6 pork chops in casserole. Top with half the vegetables from mixture. Put another layer of pork chops on top and pour over remaining mixture. Cover casserole tightly and bake in preheated over for 1 1/2 hours.
If desired sour cream may be add to pork chop before you serve it.
