Asparagus With Cream Sauce (Serves:6)

Asparagus With Cream Sauce Ingredients:

  • 1 can asparagus tips or 1 pound fresh asparagus cooked

  • 1 cup mayonnaise

  • 1/2 cup water

  • 1/2 cup cream

  • 6 hard-cooked egg, sliced

  • paprika

Asparagus With Cream Sauce Preparation Method :

Preheat oven to 350 degree F.

Drain asparagus well and cut each stalk in half.  In sauce pan, combine mayonnaise, water and cream.  Stir slowly until heated.

In buttered baking dish place layer of sliced eggs, then layer or cream sauce, then layer of asparagus, end finish with layers of egg slices.  Top with remaining sauce.  Sprinkle top with paprika.

Heat for 10 minutes in 350 degree oven.

Carbohydrate per serving of Asparagus with Cream Sauce : 3.5g
